Coronavirus Northern Ireland latest figures from Department of Health indicate no new deaths and 71 new cases

The Department of Health have reported no further Covid-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the latest dashboard.

In the figures released at 2pm this afternoon, the Department confirmed a further 71 people have tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours and 4,006 individuals were also tested during this time period.

276 people have now tested positive for Covid-19 in the last seven days, according to the DoH.

At present there are ten patients in hospital with confirmed or suspected Covid-19 and no patients in ICU with Covid-19.

The death toll as reported by the Department of Health due to Covid-19 remains at 559 in Northern Ireland.
