The nation is now receiving text messages from the UK government with strict guidelines on how to respond to the pandemic.
The text states: "GOV.UK CORONAVIRUS ALERT new rules in force now: you must stay at home. More info & Exemptions at gov.uk/coronavirus Stay at home. protect the NHS. Save lives."
It has the latest government announcements including:
- You must stay at home apart from essential travel or you may be fined.
- If you live in the UK and are currently abroad you are strongly advised to return now.
