One more person has died after testing positive for Coronavirus according to the Department of Health.
Figures released today show 76 more people have tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the number of positive cases in Northern Ireland to 6,140.
A total of 165 people have been given positive results for Coronavirus in the past seven days.
Belfast has seen the largest increase in positive infections in the last week, with 37 people contracting the virus.
The city has also suffered the highest number of positive cases since the pandemic began with 1,467 positive results. Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon has seen 768 positive test results followed by Lisburn and Castlereagh with 542.
The death toll recorded by the Department of Health currently stands at 557, 162 of these were in the Belfast area.
DoH say 334 of the deaths across NI took place in a hospital setting, 187 were in residential or care homes, 21 happened in the community and a further 15 are not recorded.
Of the total deaths recorded by the Department, 373 people were aged 80 and over, 159 were in the 60 to 79 age group, 23 were 40 to 59-year-old and one person was between 20 and 39. The age of one person who died after contracting the virus is unknown.
Three people are currently being treated for the virus in hospitals across Northern Ireland - two of whom are in intensive care.
So far, 1,627 people have been discharged from hospital after contracting Covid-19.
A total of 6,140 people have now tested positive for the virus in NI following tests on 158,666 people since the outbreak began.
Two care home outbreaks remain active, while 175 have been closed.
