Eight further coronavirus deaths have been reported by the Department of Health in the past 24 hours.
Figures released today, Sunday October 25, show 896 more people have tested positive for Covid-19 in this reporting period.
This increase brings the number of positive cases of the virus in Northern Ireland to 34,105.
A total of 6,898 people have been given positive results for coronavirus in the past seven days.
Figures also indicate 4,072 individuals have been tested in the last 24 hours.
The Department's daily dashboard update shows 653 people have passed away since the start of the pandemic here after testing positive for the virus.
There are currently 317 Covid-19 confirmed patients in hospitals across Northern Ireland with 37 people in intensive care.
A total of 2,263 patients have been discharged from hospital care after being admitted with the virus.
The Belfast area has seen the largest increase in positive infections in the past seven days, with 1,770 people contracting the virus.
Belfast has also had the highest number of positive cases since the outbreak began with 8,597.
Derry City and Strabane has seen 5,015 positive test results, followed by Newry, Mourne and Down with 3,016.
A total of 473,887 individuals have been tested since the outbreak began.
