Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Full breakdown of Sunday's Covid-19 figures

There has been one further Coronavirus death reported by the Department of Health in the past 24 hours.

Figures released today, Sunday October 4, show 462 more people have tested positive for Covid-19 since yesterday.

This brings the number of positive cases in Northern Ireland to 14,074.

A total of 3,289 people have been given positive results for Coronavirus in the past seven days.

Figures also indicate 3,684 tests have been carried out in the last 24 hours.

The Department's daily dashboard update shows 584 people have passed away since the start of the pandemic here after testing positive for the virus.

There are currently 65 Covid-19 confirmed patients in hospital across Northern Ireland and nine in intensive care.

A total of 1,795 patients have been discharged from hospital after being admitted with the virus.

The Belfast area has seen the largest increase in positive infections in the past seven days, with 733 people contracting the virus.

Belfast has had the highest number of positive cases since the outbreak began with 3,445.

Derry City and Strabane has seen 1,516 positive test results followed by, with Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon on 1,505.

A total of 368,064 tests have been carried out with 14,074 people testing positive since the outbreak began.
