Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Full breakdown of latest figures

There have been 17 further deaths as a result of Covid-19, according to the Department of Health.

The department's daily dashboard says there has been 1,410 new infections in the past day, bringing the number of new cases in the past week to 11,287.

84,646 people have tested positive for the virus since the outbreak began.

And according to DoH figures, a total of 1,414 people have passed away as a result of Covid-19 in Northern Ireland.

5,909 people have been admitted to hospital with the virus and 5,309 have been discharged.

Belfast has had the highest number of positive cases since the outbreak began with 16,606.

Derry and Strabane has seen 9,774 positive test results followed by Newry, Mourne and Down at 7,865.

There are currently 599 Covid-19 confirmed patients in hospital across Northern Ireland, with 44 being treated in intensive care.

Meanwhile, there are 133 confirmed outbreaks of coronavirus in care or residential homes.

To date, 703,379 people have been tested for the virus.
