Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Full breakdown of latest figures

There have been no further deaths as a result of Covid-19, according to the Department of Health.

The department's daily dashboard says there has been 220 new infections in the past day, bringing the number of new cases in the past week to 1,513.

10,949 people have tested positive for the virus since the outbreak began.

And according to DoH figures, a total of 578 people have passed away as a result of Covid-19 in Northern Ireland.

1,747 people have been admitted to hospital with the virus and 1,696 have been discharged.

Belfast has had the highest number of positive cases since the outbreak began with 2,769.

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon has seen 1,291 positive test results followed by Mid and East Antrim with 849.

Meanwhile, Derry and Strabane has had 355 positive cases in the last seven days.

There are currently 51 Covid-19 confirmed patients in hospital across Northern Ireland, with six being treated in intensive care.

Meanwhile, there are 28 confirmed outbreaks of coronavirus in care or residential homes and 11 suspected ones.

There have been a total of 241 acute respiratory outbreaks in care or residential homes since the pandemic began.

To date, 484,875 people have been tested for the virus.
