Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Full breakdown of latest figures

There has been one further death as a result of Covid-19, according to the Department of Health.

The Department's dashboard update says there has been 1,066 new infections in the past day, bringing the number of new cases in the past week to 5,909.

20,158 people have tested positive for the virus since the outbreak began.

And according to DoH figures, a total of 588 people have passed away as a result of Covid-19 in Northern Ireland.

2,003 people have been admitted to hospital with the virus and 1,866 have been discharged.

Belfast has had the highest number of positive cases since the outbreak began with 5,010.

Derry and Strabane has seen 2,962 positive test results followed by Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon with 1,836

Meanwhile, Belfast has had 1,504 positive cases in the last seven days, while Derry and Strabane have recorded 1,426 cases.
