Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Full breakdown of latest figures

There have been no further deaths as a result of Covid-19, according to the Department of Health.

The department's daily dashboard says there has been 88 new infections in the past day, bringing the number of new cases in the past week to 577.

8,123 people have tested positive for the virus since the outbreak began.

And according to DoH figures, a total of 568 people have passed away as a result of Covid-19 in Northern Ireland.

1,620 people have been admitted to hospital with the virus and 1,587 have been discharged.

Belfast has had the highest number of positive cases since the outbreak began with 2,032.

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon has seen 984 positive test results followed by Mid and East Antrim with 746.

There are currently 17 Covid-19 confirmed patients in hospital across Northern Ireland, with one being treated in intensive care.

Meanwhile, there are 22 confirmed outbreaks of coronavirus in care or residential homes and eight suspected ones.

There have been a total of 218 acute respiratory outbreaks in care or residential homes since the pandemic began.

To date, 273,692 people have been tested for the virus.
