Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Full breakdown of latest Covid-19 figures

Figures released by the Department of Health today show a further 23 people have tested positive for Covid-19 since Friday.

The death toll in Northern Ireland stands at 556, the DoH dashboard states.

A total of 333 deaths have been recorded in hospitals here, 187 in residential/care homes, 21 in the community and a further 15 are not recorded.

Figures today also show hospital admissions for individuals who have tested positive for Covid-19.

There is currently one patient in ICU in hospital in Northern Ireland.

There is a total of seven patients across 18 hospitals in NI, figures show. There has been 1,516 hospital admissions and 1,496 discharges.

Breakdown of individuals with a Laboratory Completed Test by LGD:

A total of 5,857 people have now tested positive for the virus, with 164,254 tests being carried out since the beginning of the pandemic.

A total of 1,430 of these positive cases were in Belfast, out of a total 23,360 test done in the area.

In the last seven days in Northern Ireland, 71 people have tested positive.
