Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Full breakdown of latest Covid-19 figures

There have been no further Coronavirus deaths according to the Department of Health.

Figures released today show 34 further individuals have tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the number of positive cases in Northern Ireland to 6,505.

A total of 294 people have been given positive results for Coronavirus in the past seven days.

The Department's daily dashboard update shows there have been no further deaths reported in the past 24 hours reporting period, with 559 people having died to date.

DoH figures show there are currently seven Covid-19 confirmed patients in hospital across Northern Ireland and zero in intensive care.

Figures also show that since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 1,520 patients have been discharged from hospital after having previously been admitted with the virus.

The Belfast area has seen the largest increase in positive infections in the past seven days, with 72 people contracting the virus.

The figures released on Thursday also show that 184,458 people have been tested for the virus here since the beginning of the pandemic.
