Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Full breakdown of latest Covid-19 figures

There have been no further Coronavirus deaths according to the Department of Health.

Figures released today show eight further individuals have tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the number of positive cases in Northern Ireland to 6,225.

A total of 179 people have been given positive results for Coronavirus in the past seven days.

The Department's daily dashboard update shows there have been no further deaths reported in the past 24 hours reporting period, with 557 people having died during the pandemic to date.

DoH figures show there are currently eight Covid-19 confirmed patients in hospital across Northern Ireland and three in intensive care.

A total of 1,513 patients have been discharged from hospital after being admitted with the virus.

The Belfast area has seen the largest increase in positive infections in the past seven days, with 42 people contracting the virus.

The figures released on Thursday also show that 165,266 people have been tested for the virus since the beginning of the pandemic.
