Coronavirus Northern Ireland full breakdown of cases

A total of 28 people have now died in Northern Ireland after testing positive for Coronavirus.

On Tuesday, the Public Health Agency said that six NI patients had passed away, and 53 new Covid-19 cases were confirmed since Wednesday's update.

A total of 586 cases in Northern Ireland have been confirmed, out of 5,885 tests.

Belfast Health and Social Care Trust has carried out the highest number of total tests, standing at 2,229.

The first laboratory confirmed case of COVID-19 in Northern Ireland was reported on February 25, 2020.

Patients within the 45-69 age range make up 38% of positive cases of Covid-19 in Northern Ireland, with 220 confirmed cases.

Those within the 0-44 age range make up 32% with 190 confirmed cases.

A total of 291 females and 295 males have tested positive for Covid-19 in Northern Ireland as of March 31.
