Coronavirus Northern Ireland full breakdown as positive patients reach 1,477

The number of people now confirmed to have Covid-19 in Northern Ireland has reached 1,477 - up 138 since yesterday.

Sadly, reported deaths associated with the disease have risen by four in the same time bringing the total to 82.

Of the 81 deaths with data, the median age was 81-years-old of which 39 (48%) were female and 42 (52%) were male.

Since testing began for the disease in Northern Ireland, 10,203 patients has been swabbed for traces of the virus.

Of the 843 tested since yesterday, 204 of them were seen at the new SSE Arena testing centre.

The number of confirmed cases in Belfast has almost reached 500.

Northern Ireland Ambulance has now tested 163 people for the virus across the region.

More females than males are confirmed to have Covid-19 with a 54% to 46% split.
