Coronavirus Northern Ireland full breakdown as number of positive patients hits 1,589

The number of people now confirmed to have Covid-19 in Northern Ireland has reached 1,589 - up 122 from yesterday.

The number of fatalities in the country has also sadly risen by 10 to 92.

Since yesterday, a further 803 people have been tested for the virus, bringing the total number of tests conducted here to 11,006.

The number of confirmed cases in Belfast has now reached over 500.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance has now tested 166 people for the virus across the region.

Of 91 deaths with data, the median age was 81 years old of which 41 (45%) were female and 50 (55%) were male.

More females than males are confirmed to have Covid-19 in Northern Ireland with a 54% to 46% split.
