The Department of Health's latest figures, released this afternoon, show that the total number of deaths related to the virus have reached 430.

The four new deaths are the latest reported fatalities in Northern Ireland as of 10am on May 9th.

And as of today (Saturday May 9th), a total of 4,078 patients are recorded to have tested positive for the virus.

The Department of Health said one death, reported on May 8th, had been removed from the total as it did not occur within 28 days of a positive lab test.
