A further five patients have sadly died after testing positive for Covid-19, the Department of Health has announced.
The latest report for Northern Ireland indicates that two of the deaths occurred in the last 24 hours, while the other three deaths occurred outside the current 24 hour period.
These most recent figures bring Northern Ireland's Coronavirus death toll to 427.
And as of Friday May 8, a total of 4,022 patients are recorded to have tested positive for the virus.
