The Department of Health has reported two further deaths related to Coronavirus.
The deaths are recorded to have occurred within the current 24 hour reporting period and it brings the death toll in Northern Ireland to 581, say the DoH.
In Thursday's dashboard update, a further 259 positive cases of the virus were recorded.
And in the last seven days, a total of 1,979 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19.
The total number of positive cases in Northern Ireland to date is 11,952.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Department has noted that 504,179 individuals have been tested.
