Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Department of Health reports seven further deaths and 863 new cases

Northern Ireland's coronavirus related death toll has risen by seven, Tuesday's Department of Health dashboard shows.

Four deaths occurred within the current 24 hour reporting period, and three outside of this time period.

According to the Department, the death toll now stands at 598.

And in the last 24 hours, a further 863 individuals have tested positive for the virus - bringing the total number of cases in Northern Ireland to 21,898.

In the last seven days, 6,286 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19.

As of Tuesday morning, there are 23 patients with coronavirus in ICU.
