Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Department of Health reports one further death and 69 new cases

The Department of Health has reported one further Coronavirus related death in Northern Ireland.

The latest dashboard update on Thursday indicates that the death toll in Northern Ireland now stands at 560.

And a further 69 individuals have tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hour reporting period, figures show.

This increase brings the total number of positive cases in Northern Ireland to 6,964.

The Department reported that in the last seven days, 418 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19. According to the latest data, one individual is in ICU with Covid-19

The overall number of individuals tested for the virus since the beginning of the pandemic is now 213,619.
