Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Department of Health reports no further deaths and 88 new positive cases

Latest figures from the Department of Health show 88 individuals in Northern Ireland have tested positive for Coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to Friday's daily dashboard, no further deaths have been reported by the DoH and the death toll remains at 568.

In the last seven days, 577 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19, meaning the total number of positive cases here is now 8,123.

The Department reports that 273,692 people have been tested for the virus so far in Northern Ireland.

At present one person remains ventilated in ICU with Covid-19.

Yesterday, the First and Deputy First Minister announced a number of local lockdowns in Northern Ireland to help curb the spread of Coronavirus.
