Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Department of Health reports no further deaths and 43 new cases

The Department of Health has today reported no further deaths relating to Coronavirus.

In their daily dashboard update on Thursday, the Department also indicated that the number of positive tests for the virus here has risen by 43 to 6,049 in the last 24 hour reporting period.

This was since the last report yesterday that the number had risen to 6,009.

According to the report, 118 people here have tested positive in the last seven days. Newry, Mourne and Down have recorded the highest number of positive cases in the last seven days, with 38 people testing positive for the virus.

Earlier today, the Public Health Agency said they have identified five Coronavirus clusters in NI over the last week.

To date, there have been 150,953 individuals tested for the virus, and a total of 556 Covid-19 related deaths in Northern Ireland.
