Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Department of Health reports no further deaths and 29 new cases

The Department of Health has today reported no further Coronavirus related deaths in Northern Ireland.

Dashboard figures on Wednesday August 8 indicate that the death toll here stands at 557.

These most recent figures show that a further 29 positive cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in the last 24 hours.

The total number of positive cases of the virus in Northern Ireland is 6,217 - 204 individuals have tested positive for the virus in the past seven days.

And a total of 163,986 individuals have been tested.
