Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Department of Health reports no further deaths and 15 new cases

The Department of Health has today reported no further deaths relating to Coronavirus.

In their daily dashboard update on Friday, the Department also indicated that the number of positive tests for the virus here has risen by 15 to 6,064 in the last 24 hour reporting period.

According to the DoH dashboard, 125 people here have tested positive in the past seven days.

Newry, Mourne and Down have recorded 39 positive cases in that period.

Yesterday, the Public Health Agency said it had identified five Coronavirus clusters in NI in the past week.

To date, there have been 153,106 individuals tested for the virus, and a total of 556 Covid-19 related deaths in Northern Ireland, according to the DoH.
