Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Department of Health records one further Covid-19 related death

The Department of Health has today recorded one further Covid-19 related death in Northern Ireland.

New figures indicated that the death toll in Northern Ireland has now risen to 539.

The recent death is believed to have occurred between 10am on Thursday June 11 and 10am this morning.

According to the Department on Friday, 16 positive tests were recorded yesterday.

The total number of confirmed cases in Northern Ireland has now risen to 4,838.

A total of 63,589 individuals have been tested for the virus in Northern Ireland since the start of the pandemic.
