Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Breakdown of most recent figures from DoH

There have been no Covid-19 related deaths recorded in Northern Ireland for the last three days.

Although the Department of Health has ceased its weekend dashboard updates, Monday's figures showed there was no change in the overall death toll here on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

The number of Covid-19 related deaths here remains at 554.

Belfast is the district in Northern Ireland with the highest number of recorded deaths associated with the virus (161) and the Fermanagh and Omagh area has the lowest (11).

Four deaths have been recorded as 'Not Known' for Local Government District.

The most recent dashboard update from the Department of Health shows a rise in confirmed positive cases here by nine to 5,756.

And in the last seven days, 25 positive cases of the virus have been confirmed.

In this week, Newry Mourne and Down have had 11 confirmed cases, four in Lisburn and Castlereagh, three in both Mid and East Antrim and Belfast and one further case in Antrim and Newtownabbey, Ards and North Down, Causeway Coast and Glens and Fermanagh and Omagh.

There are no patients with confirmed Covid-19 currently in ICU wards across Northern Ireland.

And the dashboard reports that 16 patients with confirmed Covid-19 are in our local hospital wards.

A total of 1,479 Coronavirus patients have been discharged from hospital care since the beginning of the pandemic, according to the most recent figures.
