Coronavirus Northern Ireland: 27 new cases reported in 24 hours by Department of Health

The Department of Health has reported no further Covid-19 related deaths.

According to the most recent dashboard update, there have been 27 confirmed cases of the virus in the past 24 hours.

A total of 288 people have tested positive for the virus in the past seven days.

The death toll in Northern Ireland stands at 558 and the total number of individuals tested positive is 6,391, reports the DoH.

Figures released on Saturday also indicated that 176,998 individuals have been tested for the virus since the beginning of the pandemic.

NISRA states the total Covid-19 related deaths figure stands at 859. They count deaths that have ccoronavirus mentioned on the death certificate.
