Northern Ireland has nine new positive cases of coronavirus today, it has emerged.
As of 2pm on Friday, testing has resulted in nine new positive cases, bringing the total number of cases in Northern Ireland to 29.
The UK's Public Health Agency is establishing if any of the new cases fall into the category of community transmission.
A total of 321 tests have been completed in Northern Ireland, in cases where people met the case definition for suspected coronavirus.
The new cases bring the total on the island of Ireland to 99, with 70 in the Republic as of 5pm on Friday, March 13.
Northern Ireland's Public Health Agency (PHA) said: "The move from containment to delay is timely as we have now seen our first cases of community transmission in Northern Ireland - three of the nine new cases published today.
"This was expected and highlights the importance of the additional guidance that has been put in place to reduce the spread in our community."
