Coronavirus NI latest statistics broken down by area and age

A further eight people have sadly died here due to Coronavirus, bringing the overall death toll in Northern Ireland now to 514.

The latest report from the Department of Health on Monday indicates of the eight latest fatalities recorded, seven were aged 80 and over and one person was aged 60-79.

The latest fatalities were reported in: Belfast (2), Antrim and Newtownabbey (3), Mid and East Antrim (1), Causeway Coast and Glens (1) and Mid Ulster (1).

Currently there are 547 inpatients at 19 hospital sites across Northern Ireland- a decrease of four patients since yesterday.

A total of 113 of those patients have confirmed Covid-19, whilst the other 434 inpatients have suspected Covid-19.

At present, there are 14 people in ICU here with confirmed or suspected Coronavirus.

According to the latest report a further 39 people have tested positive in the last 24 hours and a further 847 people have also been tested for the virus.

A total of 305 new samples have also been taken from National Testing Centre sites for lab examination.

The 39 latest positive cases here have been recorded in: Antrim and Newtownabbey (4), Ards and North Down (1), Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon (2), Belfast (6), Causeway Coast and Glens (8), Lisburn and Castlereagh (2), Mid and East Antrim (4), Mid Ulster (7) and Newry, Mourne and Down (5).

At present, Northern Ireland has recorded a total of 4,609 cases of Covid-19.
