Coronavirus NI latest figures show 176 new cases reported by DoH

New cases of Coronavirus in Northern Ireland have risen by 176 in the last 24 hours, according to the Department of Health.

In the latest dashboard update on Sunday afternoon, no further deaths have been reported as the death toll remains at 575.

In the last 7 days, 977 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in NI, with 3362 tests having been processed in the last 24 hours.

The age category where the highest number of new positive cases have been identified remains those aged 20-39, with 383 new cases in that age bracket in the last week.

There are also currently 27 confirmed Covid-19 cases in care homes across Northern Ireland, with a further 11 suspected cases also recorded.
