Coronavirus NI: Latest figures breakdown as 357 new cases recorded

A further 10 people have sadly lost their lives after contracting Covid-19, according to the latest figures from the Department of Health.

The latest dashboard released to the public on Saturday, November 21 at 2pm shows that seven of those deaths occurred in the current reporting period, with three occurring outside the last 24 hours.

Northern Ireland's death toll due to Covid-19 now stands at 923, according to Department of Health figures.

A further 357 individuals have tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, with 2,535 people tested in the same period.

In the past seven days, 3,114 people have been confirmed as having the virus.

Belfast has recorded the highest daily increase of cases in Northern Ireland with a further 75, followed by Mid Ulster with a further 44 new cases.

Ards and North Down recorded the lowest daily increase with 14 new cases.

At present there are 41 patients in ICU here with Covid-19, with 31 patients on ventilators.

There are 429 Covid-19 patients in hospitals across Northern Ireland at present.
