France is to close all schools while a state of emergency has been declared in New York City as the world braces for further spread of coronavirus.
It comes after Boris Johnson has announced the shift to the next stage of the coronavirus battle plan.
Earlier it was revealed around 5,000 to 10,000 in the UK could be infected by the virus.
While two more people were confirmed to have died after contracting coronavirus in London.
