The number of coronavirus cases has hit 20 after Covid-19 was passed on in the UK for the first time.
It comes as a British man became the sixth person from aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship to die from the coronavirus.
All the passengers who were initially quarantined aboard the ship in Japan had disembarked by Thursday among a general surge in cases worldwide that has rocked stock markets.
The FTSE 100 posted its worst week since the 2008 financial crisis amid fears over the outbreak.
