France has announced two cases of coronavirus - the first in Europe - as the deadly new virus spreads from China.

Health minister Agnes Buzyn confirmed the two cases on Friday evening, saying both patients had travelled to China. Ms Buzyn said she expects more cases.

It comes as UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock hosted a COBRA meeting earlier on Friday to discuss the outbreak in the city of Wuhan.

At least 26 people have died from the respiratory illness in Wuhan, China, while hundreds of cases have been confirmed internationally.
