With coronavirus continuing to spread across the United Kingdom, we are now being advised to stay at home as much as possible.
But social isolation doesn't have to be boring. Netflix have now added an exciting new feature, which will allow you to watch your favourite shows alongside your friends and family.
While events may be being cancelled across the capital, Netflix Party will allow you host movie nights and socialise with your friends online, all while stopping the virus from spreading.
Netflix Party is an extension which is only available through Google chrome.
Netflix say: "Netflix Party is a new way to watch Netflix with your friends online. Netflix Party synchronizes video playback and adds group chat to your favorite Netflix shows."
How to start a Netflix Party
Step 1
Google Netflix Party and download extension on google chrome. Make sure your friends and family do the same.
Step 2
Whoever wants to start the Netflix Party then picks a movie or binge worthy box set to watch with friends.
Step 3
Once the movie is on, click NP in your Google chrome search bar. This will then generate a unique URL that you can send to friends and family that you would like to join you.
Step 4
Once your friends click on the URL they will be invited to watch the show with you, all while chatting on a sidebar.
