Love Island star Alex George is one of many incredible doctors and nurses battling to beat the coronavirus while the rest of the country is under lockdown.
And the NHS doctor's girlfriend has now paid a gushing tribute to him.
Amelia Bath is currently self-isolating in Dorset away from Alex, who is working in a hospital in Lewisham, London.
Taking to Instagram, Amelia shared a picture of their shadows as Alex gave her a piggyback ride on the beach.
Amelia captioned it: "This afternoon I painted a mirror in the sunshine whilst drinking wine and listening to the Beach Boys.
"Meanwhile, Alex ran around Lewisham hospital treating Covid-19 patients.
"I'm so proud of him and I'm endlessly grateful for all the NHS staff and key workers who are working tirelessly during such uncertain times."
Many of her followers praised Alex for all his hard work.
One commented: "He's no ordinary man. Social media talks about inspiration, but Alex and these key workers are true inspiration and genuine heroes."
"He's amazing. Gratitude goes out to him and the NHS," another posted.
A third said: "True inspiration. The man, the legend, the hero, Dr Alex."
Last week Dr Alex said the NHS won't be able to cope if cases of coronavirus rise rapidly.
He told The Sun : 'I've been testing around eight patients a shift - and the NHS can easily cope with that level, but if we start seeing 50 or 60 a day, the pressure will be on.
"The protective gear we have to wear at the moment adds to the queues at A&E.
"Before seeing each patient I have to put on a gown, fit a mask and visor and double glove as well as the thorough hand-washing routine."
