Coronavirus latest figures for Northern Ireland broken down by council area

Coronavirus related deaths in Northern Ireland has risen to 504 today.

The latest report from the Department of Health on Friday indicates that three more people have lost their lives to the virus.

Of those three people, two were aged 80 and over and one person was aged 60-79.

The latest fatalities were reported in: Belfast (1), Lisburn and Castlereagh (1) and Ards and North Down (1).

Currently there are 615 inpatients at 19 hospital sites across Northern Ireland- a decrease of four patients since yesterday.

127 of those patients have confirmed Covid-19, whilst the other 488 inpatients have suspected Covid-19.

There are 13 people in ICU here with confirmed or suspected Coronavirus.

According to the latest report a further 23 people have tested positive in the last 24 hours and a further 1,178 people have also been tested for the virus.

551 samples have also been taken from National Testing Centre sites for lab examination.

The 23 latest positive cases here have been recorded in: Antrim and Newtownabbey (2), Ards and North Down (1), Belfast (5), Causeway Coast and Glens (4),  Lisburn and Castlereagh (3), Mid and East Antrim (3), Mid Ulster (2), Newry, Mourne and Down (1) and two cases were recorded as Not Known.

At present, Northern Ireland has recorded a total of 4,504 cases of Covid-19.
