Coronavirus latest as eight more deaths and ten new cases announced in Ireland

Eight more people have sadly lost their lives to COVID-19, health officials confirmed today.

This brings the overall death toll in the Republic of Ireland to 1,658.

Additionally just ten more cases have been announced bringing the total to 25,066.
