Dublin has seen the biggest increase in new COVID-19 cases over the last two weeks, worrying new figures have revealed.
The capital remains the epicentre of the outbreak here accounting for nearly half of all confirmed cases in the country.
And over the last fortnight Dublin saw the biggest rise, with 62 new infections reported.
Kildare was next with 27 new cases, followed by Cork with 12, and Sligo with 10.
However, three areas have seemingly successfully suppressed the virus, as Clare, Laois and Tipperary saw no increase in cases over the same period.
The latest figures from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre are valid up to midnight on Sunday, July 12.
It comes after it was announced last night that there have been no new deaths and 32 new cases reported in Ireland.
It brings the total number of confirmed cases here to 25,670 while the death toll stands at 1,746.
