Kirstie Allsopp has come under fire after admitting she's taken her whole family to their second home in Devon after her husband contracted coronavirus.
Speaking in a column for The Times newspaper, Kirstie revealed her partner Ben Andesen had tested positive for the illness and her sister - who had had come down to visit them - had now also developed symptoms.
After Ben fell ill, Kirstie pulled her youngest sons out of school and she, Ben and their children; Oscar, 11, Bay, 13, Hal, 17, Lydia, 19, all left the city and relocated to their country retreat in Devon.
"We've all been living together for the past few days," Kirstie explained, adding: "But we're not sharing bathrooms, towels, utensils etc.

"We reckon if we were going to get it we would have got it by now, but there are some times when following the rules is a good idea."
She went on:"We're all wondering, have we had it or are we going to develop it at any moment?"
Kirstie then told how her sister, who had come to stay with the family before heading off to Edinburgh, was now concerned she had developed some of the common symptoms of COVID-19.
"She's really unwell, totally bedridden and feeling as if she has "smoked a packet of B&H every day for the past 20 years,'" said Kirstie

"She asked for a test on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of the previous week to no avail. She's hoping that Ben testing positive will mean she can get a test too."
While Ben had been a confirmed case, Kirstie said her sister - who had no been tested - was feeling much worse.
"Either that or he's being incredibly stoical and my sister is not, but the chances of that are slim," noted Kirstie.
The mum then revealed her teenage son Hal had also come down with a cough during their time in quarantine together.
"Do we do another seven days?" asked the Location, Location, Location star.

The column was swiftly picked up in a mumsnet thread entitled: "To think Kirsty Allsop is the worst kind of second home owner."
The creator fired: "In today’s Times Kirsty tells us all about how her family have decamped to their second home in North Devon.
"Taking with them her husband who has tested positive for CV.
"On top of this his sister visited and took it back to Edinburgh.
"Oh and they’re not isolating within the house but they’re not ‘sharing towels’ so that’s ok.
"We have ONE district hospital here in North Devon with SEVEN ventilators. The entire Allsopp family could need EVERY bed within the next two weeks instead of staying put in West London where their medical provision is."
The ended the post by telling Kristie to "b***** off back to Notting Hill."

This week, Kirstie appeared on Good Morning Britain via video link where she spoke about feeling unwell herself.
She told hosts Piers, 54, and Lorraine Kelly, 60: "I don't know and I won't know [if I've got it] because tests aren't available.
"My husband got a test because of complications with my son's health, he was taking him to the doctor.
"This is the point that needs to be made really clear, people might have it and not know they've got it. So many people have it and they don't know they've got it."
