There are test centres in Kildare which a GP will ask you to attend if they deem necessary - the exact location has not been made available to the public.
You cannot simply turn up to a centre for a test, you will instead need to be sent there by a doctor.
Latest coronavirus updates Kildare
The first fatal victim of coronavirus in the country was in Co Kildare.
The elderly victim, from Naas, Co Kildare, had an underlying illness and was admitted to Naas General with respiratory problems.
She was later diagnosed with Covid-19 and died a few days later.
