Khloe Kardashian mocked for 'outrageously ignorant' coronavirus message

Khloe Kardashian has been mocked by Twitter fans after posting a message about coronavirus on Instagram.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians beauty, who is self-isolating at home away from her rich and famous family, left her followers outraged when she shared a seemingly thoughtless quote on her Story.

The quote shared by Khloe, 35, made clear that when the global pandemic is over, it isn't CEOs and billionaires who will have saved us, instead it's the people working on the frontline.

It read: "When this is over, let's remember that is wasn't the CEOs and billionaires who saved us.

"It was the janitors, doctors, nurses, scientists, grocery and food workers."

The inconsiderate quote caused a stir amongst fans (Khloe Kardashian/Instagram)

While Khloe may have intended to send a positive message by sharing the quote, some saw it as inconsiderate as they felt Khloe is exempt from the "us" bracket due to her celebrity status.

Fans blasted the quote as "ironic" as the reality star is a billionaire herself.

One shared a meme which read: "The irony".

Fans said the quote was 'ironic' coming from the successful superstar (Instagram)

Another posted: "Psychopathic tweet".

A third joked: "Who's gonna tell her".

Khloe later shared another spiritual quote in a bid to keep her loved ones safe.

It read: "Lord, please put a shield around my friends and family today. Wrap them with love and protection. Amen."

Khloe's celebrity status removes her from the 'us' bracket as she is a billionaire (E!)

It comes as the blonde beauty and her sisters Kim and Kourtney have separated during the COVID-19 crisis.

Kim announced on Instagram that the girls have made the "hard" decision to self-isolate away from each other.

She later revealed she was missing her sisters but urged her followers to stay inside as the killer virus continues to spread across the United States.
