Coronavirus: Jeff Brazier explains how he's rationing food and has 'everything he needs'

Jeff Brazier has opened up about how he's been rationing food in the coronavirus crisis.

The TV presenter, 40, said he feels like he was "everything he needs" to feed him and his two boys, Bobby, 16, and Freddie, 15, and his wife Kate Dwyer.

But he explained that he's told his sons that they must eat the stuff that goes out of date sooner first.

Taking to Twitter, he said: "Does everyone feel like they've got everything they need?

"I've told mine they have to eat in the order of what goes off first. I ration the fun stuff or yeah that'll be gone in seconds."

He later added: "Making breakfast with thing that are nearly best before so we don't have food waste which is so important at a time when people are worried about having enough."

Jeff, who shares his boys with the late Jade Goody, also hit out at those who are hoarding more food than they need as they go out panic buying.

The dad-of-two continued: "Fair enough people have made sure they have enough for their family...

"However!!! Hopefully those with too much will ensure they give away any surplus to the vulnerable amongst us before it goes off or that would truly be a waste.

"Let's make sure we minimise food waste."
