A whopping 22 counties reported zero new coronavirus cases over the last 24 hours, new statistics reveal.
While Dublin, which has been the epicentre of the outbreak here, recorded just three new infections over the same period.
The latest data from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre covers the period up to Saturday, June 13.
The only counties to report a rise in case numbers the previous 24 hours were Dublin, Kildare, Mayo and Wicklow.
While the number of confirmed infections in the capital currently stands at 12,213, just three more than yesterday.
It comes after there were no new coronavirus deaths reported last night.
An additional 18 cases of the deadly bug were announced by the Department of Health on Monday evening.
The death toll from the virus in the country now stands at 1,706.
There have been a total of 25,321 Covid-19 infections in Ireland.

Minister for Health Simon Harris posted on Twitter: "Zero new deaths from #Covid19 reported to the Department of Health today.
"It’s only one day but a day which gives us hope.
"A day which encourages and motivates us all.
"Keep well and please continue to follow the public health advice - including face coverings - to protect each other."
