Coronavirus Ireland: Six new deaths, 6,110 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed with over 3,500 in Dublin

Health officials have announced 6,110 new cases of the coronavirus in Ireland today.

That brings the total number of cases in the country since the pandemic began to 117,197.

Sadly, there have also been six further deaths from COVID-19 in the country, public health officials confirmed this evening.

3,655 of today's new cases are located in Dublin.

The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
