Coronavirus Ireland: No deaths as 12 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed

Health officials have announced that there have been no further deaths from COVID-19 in Ireland.

An additional 12 new cases have also been confirmed.

A total of 1,764 people have sadly lost their lives to the deadly virus while there have been 25,881  confirmed infections since the global pandemic arrived on Irish shores.

The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
