Coronavirus Ireland news: What time will new Covid-19 cases be announced today?

The Department of Health will announce the latest update on coronavirus cases in Ireland later today.

Chief Medical Officer Tony Holohan will hold his usual press conference which will be aired live and give the most up to date case number for the Republic of Ireland.

Three new deaths in Northern Ireland today brings the total number of people killed on the island of Ireland to 19, with nine in the south and 10 in the north.

The total number of confirmed cases in the north now stands at 241 with a further 1,564 in the Republic, making 1,805 the figure for the island of Ireland.

What time will Ireland's latest cases be announced?

The latest Department of Health briefing will take place at 8:30pm on Thursday, March 26th - it had been scheduled for 6pm but was pushed back.

Dr Tony Holohan will speak from their location in Dublin as has been the routine in the last few weeks.
