The number of people fighting for their life after testing positive for Covid-19 in Ireland has hit a new low.
There were 20 patients with confirmed coronavirus in an ICU as of 8pm on Tuesday.
That figure is eight times lower than the peak of 160 recorded in April.
Four of these cases were in Beaumont Hospital, four were in Tallaght and three were in St James's.

There were two in both The Mater and Cork University Hospital, while Galway, Mercy, Cavan, Connolly and St Vincent's all had one ICU patient.
Seven of the people in intensive care in Ireland on Tuesday night were on a ventilator.
There were a further 11 suspected cases in receipt of critical care - five of which were ventilated cases.
It comes as the number of confirmed cases in a hospital setting is at its lowest point since the middle of March.
The latest HSE operations report shows that there were 62 hospitalised cases as of 8pm on Tuesday.
This number is down from the peak of nearly 900 recorded in mid-April.
The Mater had most patients with 13, Beaumont had 11 and Tallaght was treating nine Covid-19 cases.
There were a further 214 suspected cases in hospitals - 78 of these were in Limerick.
