There are now just six hospitals in Ireland treating more than three coronavirus patients, new figures show.
It comes as 12 hospitals are Covid-19 free with no confirmed case of the virus on site.
The Mater in Dublin continues to have the most patients with 21 being treated there as of 8pm on Sunday.
It is followed by Tallaght (Adults) with 11, Beaumont with 10, Galway with seven, Limerick with five and Cork with four.
The hospitals without any confirmed cases are St. James's, Portlaoise, Wexford, Letterkenny, Mayo, Portiuncula, Sligo, Kerry, STGH, Temple St, Crumlin and Tallaght (CHI).
This relates to the 79 confirmed cases in hospitals recorded by the HSE on Sunday night.
Meanwhile, there were 141 suspected coronavirus patients being treated in a hospital setting at the same time.
In terms of serious cases, there were 27 confirmed in an ICU with a further eight suspected in a critical care facility.
On Sunday, the Republic of Ireland recorded one further death linked to the virus.
The death toll here now stands at 1,703.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) was also notified that eight more people tested positive for the bug.
There have now been a total of 25,238 infections in Ireland.
