Coronavirus Ireland: New Zealand man's message to 'inspiring' Ireland amid pandemic

A New Zealand man has left a kind message for the people of Ireland online as he tracks our progress against Covid-19.

Taking to Reddit the man from down under said that given the population similarities between Ireland and the home of the all-blacks - they have been watching us keenly.

And he has said Ireland's efforts to flatten the curve are nothing short of "inspiring".

The Reddit user said: "Hi guys, Kiwi here. we’re both small countries in the same boat with this COVID-19 ordeal.

"I have friends from Ireland and I am following your news as much as I’m following my own. It’s inspiring to see your response and attitude towards this whole situation, and it makes me feel a little bit better seeing other parts of the world are getting by too :).

"From one small country to another, keep fighting, Stay indoors, be kind to each other. Kia Kaha, Ireland
